Volunteer
YST relies on compassionate volunteers who share their time, energy, and talent to help vulnerable youth. Volunteer opportunities are available to individuals and groups.
Due to the sensitive nature of our work and the crucial need for client privacy, volunteers must be at least 21 years or older.
Individual Volunteers
Coffee House Assistant
Assist our staff at Coffee House on Saturday night where youth ages 12-18 have a place to hang out, express themselves and enjoy live music, wifi and free hot beverages courtesy of QuikTrip. Coffee House is open most Saturday nights from 7-11 and admission is always free.
Special Events
Help our team organize and run friendraising and fundraising events like Taste of Brookside, or Blues Brews & Barbecue
Gifts of Hope
Join us in Santa's workshop as we assemble gift bags for youth in need (December only).
Safe Place Responder
Respond to youth in crisis by offering a safe ride to our Adolescent Emergency Shelter. Volunteer applicants are subject to screening, background checks, and training.
